Francis Crick: A great open minded

Francis Crick was one of the two scientists (together with Watson), who discovered the DNA model. But differently from Watson, Francis was more open minded, and he was not afraid of the social limits. Maybe because of this fact, Crick would recognize later that when he got the idea of the DNA model, he was under the effects of LSD. Another thing that I really admire of him is that he wrote a book, that i consider indispensable for all the scientists, or students who are related to the natural sciences. The book's title is "the Astonishing Hypothesis: The Scientific Search For The Soul" and It's a beautiful book, that we could describe just with one word: "brilliant". Finally, i would like to say, that his open mindedness, was the key thing that made me choose him, because I really think that an open mind is what scientists need.

I choose this website because whitout it i never could reach the last year. This website is a plataform that our med school provided to the professors and students, for an easely comunication between ourself and the teachers. In that website we can share articules, transcriptions, the profesor's presentations, and even the audio of some classes, which is great when we didn't go to a class or we want to preparate the exams, and the time is too short to preparate it with a book. Also we can chat in the forums abouts our doubts, or interests, or whatever. furthermore, we can create surveys to come to an agreement betweens ourself. Finally, i think that without this webpage the life to an U. Chile med student would be a mess, or much more difficult.

the earthquake to me

Well, that night, luckily i was awake. I was with my girlfriend in my room, and in that moment we`re going downstairs. So the half of the earthquake I spend in my bedroom, and the other half I spend in the stairs. The first thing i thought was WTF?!... but then i worried about my loved ones. But then nothing happened, except for something that always happens in my house... the keys were lost, and women in the house were really desperate about that... but i was with them and that's all i care. Well, now i remember that i was worried about my father, who doesn't live in my house, and my brother who lived the house a few weeks from that, but i had news about them very quickly. I thought that my grandfathers was fine because they live in a fortress. My girlfriend was worried about her family, but she could quickly communicate with them. When the night became day came the pain, for those who lost everything, and for the destroyed things in my land. Now we just can to be hopeful about the tomorrow and give our help and good feelings to the ones who are in need.

The introduction of myself

I am probably a mortal person, but i haven't wanted to prove that yet. But in fact, to me it`s not important, because I don't believe in death. I think we're energy, our soul never dies, because energy never can be created or destroyed, so in the worst way, our soul will transform. Well, let's focus on me. Who am I? that's a terrible question, by reason of I am changing day by day. My thoughts never are definitives, although some of them are very deeply in my brain, those that came from my heart or soul, like god existence (not the traditional god). It seems that i answer a completely different question, who nobody ask, but well, what are we? what defines us?... i think our thoughts and feelings can be a good response to that, because that is what we do with our experience, so thoughts and feelings could tell me more about a person than experiences could do.

So, we can say that i`m all or nothing, its a matter of perspective. I have all the potential of the universe, the same as everyone, but i know that fact, i believe in that, not like everyone. So that's something you could tell about me.

Finally, I'm a mystery that not even me can figure out.
